The Royal Court of Spain: The Royal Couple visit to the US day 2

The Spanish Royal couple second day in the United States continues with a full day of royal activities.
It started with His Majesty meeting with US Business leader in DC at the US Chamber of Commerce. According to Casa Del Rey, His Majesty the King held a breakfast meeting at the residence of US Ambassador to Spain organized by the ICEX-Invest in Spain and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States businessmen, in collaboration with the US Chamber of Comerce, which was attended by representatives from companies such as DuPont, Dow Chemicals, Costco, Lilly, Microsoft, HP, 3M, Honeywell, Marriott, UPS, IP Containers or General Motors.

Meanwhile Her Majesty the Queen  visited the National Cancer Institute in the Clinical Hospital of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). After meeting the research laboratories of the pediatric unit to combat cancer, Letizia held a working meeting.

 Later, in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, the King attended the seminar "A transatlantic conversation", organized by the Wilson Center and the Real Instituto Elcano. In his speech, King referred to the need to address global challenges such as climate change, nuclear proliferation and global terrorism through global solutions.

At noon, King Felipe maintain a working lunch with scientists and experts participating in the seminar.
His Majesty met with Hispanic leaders
In the afternoon, the King and Queen attend the presentation of the First Meeting of Spanish scientists in the United States at the University of Georgetown, ending with a dinner hosted by the academic institution in his honor.
His Majesty gave a speech during his visit to His Alma Mater the University of Georgetown. His Majesty attend the University where he studied and graduated with a Master in Foreign Science Edmund A.Walsh of Foreign science
